Rolex • US Open
This concept video started as most do, with a vague idea and tight turnaround. The initial pitch was to have still images that panned across the screen, to tell the history of the US Open Championship and its partnership with Rolex. To bring this story to life, my idea was to create Plotagraphs, separating the foregrounds and backgrounds and subtly animating the subjects. The addition of subtle motion from grass and light flares brought this spot to life.
